IS IT
SPRING YET????
It’s
cold. There is snow and ice on the ground. And I’m trying to write an Easter
and VBS program. A little sunshine and temperatures out of the single digits
might help to inspire me.
We’ve
been keeping busy this winter. We took time off in December as three of our
members were involved in church performances. Hope everyone is having a great
start to 2014. One month down already!
Last week we literally went through hundreds
of songs trying to ‘update our repertoire.’ We have been lining up programs for
this year and working on the Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers national
conference in July.
Kristofer
is busy making new puppets. Love Reached is working on new songs and a new
video. I’m thinking about green grass, tulips and chocolate bunnies.
The
characters will be coming out from behind the fence soon to begin their
adventures.

Something
new for us…we will be involving our “kid” audience in more of our programs.
(See the picture of Kristofer in the ball pit for a sneak peak of one of our
games.) We gave this a try at a church in November and it was a ‘hit.’ We’re planning other exciting “kid-volvement”
ideas for this year also.
So…on
with the writing and planning. Maybe if I crank up the heat I can pretend that
it’s warm and sunny and spring is on the way!
